- 본 발명은 MCT 발현 또는 활성 억제제를 유효성분으로 포함하는 혈관신생 관련 안과 질환의 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물에 관한 것으로, 기존 치료법과는 달리 침윤된 대식세포가 분비하는 VEGF 만을 특이적으로 억제함으로써, 맥락막 모세혈관과 시세포의 항상성 유지에 필요한 VEGF의 정상적인 기능에 영향을 미치지 않고 효과적으로 혈관신생 관련 안과 질환을 예방 또는 치료할 수 있다.
